This week, the eateries that are included in 2020 edition of The Good Food Guide complied by Waitrose and Partners were announced in advance of the publication of the guide on 12 September 2019.
It’s no surprise that the South West features heavily; after all, we are a region that has a reputation for quality food. But even I found the scale of our representation mouth-watering – we have 290 restaurants listed if you search by “south west”. (Note: 290 is close to 25% of total eateries included in the guide).

Congratulations to all who made it on to the list. It certainly does showcase the south west as a centre for food excellence. As I would guess that a significant proportion of those restaurants listed specialise in local produce; I would congratulate the suppliers and food producers.
