Start Up Cornwall 2018

Last week saw the inaugural event of ‘Start-Up Cornwall’ which was run alongside it’s bigger brother, ‘Finance in Cornwall’.

Finance in Cornwall 2018 – Bite size edition

You may have read on Richard Wadman’s blog post that we’ll be doing a whistle stop tour of Cornwall next month, taking the ‘best bits’ of Finance in Cornwall into an even more condensed ‘bite size’ format, whilst attendees tuck into a complimentary breakfast.

Date Town
9 May Penzance
11 May Bude
16 May Liskeard

An 8am start in Bude is going to be a test of character for myself, but I hope it means we can meet some new faces who cannot typically make it to our Truro breakfast briefings.

Long live Finance in Cornwall

From Richard’s blog post, you may have seen that alongside Arsène Wenger, Richard is also hanging up his PowerPoint presentations. Richard has poured blood, sweat and tears into this event over the last 11 years and on behalf of everyone here at PKF Francis Clark, I would like to say a massive thank you to him. I have always found them very informative and I am sure many others have as well.

However, as the saying goes, the show must go on. Whether it will be the same format, time will tell and if anyone has any suggestions, I am all ears. Richard leaves some rather large DMs to be filled!
