Last week we hosted our first Deep Dive webinar into artificial intelligence and we would like to thank Alister Jones (Transparity), Chris Weavill (Hertzian), Amy Ralston and Max Miliffe (Stephens Scown) for taking part. The webinar was one of our most popular, with over 270 people registered to attend. The content was interesting, engaging and extremely thought provoking and given the level of questions raised our audience felt the same way!
The topics covered include:
- What is AI? (including how ChatGPT responded to that question..)
- Business applications of AI
- IP and Data protection when using AI
- Open AI terms and conditions
- Regulation of AI
- Starting to use AI in your business – importance of training and policies
One of the key takeaways from the webinar is that when using AI, think about the quality of data it is being asked to look at. AI hovers up data – and then processes it to give answers to questions. Therefore, the quality of those answers will always be dependent on that data. Also remember the IP and data protection issues relating to the dataset.
This is definitely a subject we will be returning to.
