Plymouth Breakfast Briefing – November 2019
PKF Francis Clark kindly invites you to an informal breakfast briefing on the subject of business and share valuations.
Do you know much your business could be worth? Are you interested in identifying actions which could increase the value of your business? If you received an unsolicited offer for your business, would you know whether it represented good value? If an opportunity arose to acquire a business, would you know how to value it?
The PKF Francis Clark Corporate Finance team are well versed in answering these and similar valuation related questions, having worked on many business or share valuations. These assignments have been driven by a number of scenarios ranging from incorporation, identifying possible acquisition targets to the sale of the company; or from creating EMI share options to dealing with the sensitivities surrounding matrimonial cases and probate.
Or, some clients just want to know the current value of their company (as with their own house!)
Valuing a business is often described as being somewhere between an art and a science. Whilst this can cause confusion and uncertainty, there are several common fundamentals that feature in most valuations. Our experienced team of advisers will guide you through some of the main methods and provide advice and insights as to how to enhance the value of your business.
During this informal briefing members of our Corporate Finance team will share their experience on matters which may include:
- Valuations – why and when
- Review of valuation techniques
- What are maintainable profits?
- Trends in Price Earnings Multiples
- Enterprise Value vs Equity Value
- How to enhance value
The briefing will be based around a high level case study. And if that is not enough, breakfast will be provided.
Places are limited and will be available on a first come first served basis. Please note there is no parking on site for this event.
