Truro – March Breakfast Briefing
PKF Francis Clark proudly invites you to a breakfast briefing on what may turn out to be the topic of 2020: sustainability and climate resilience.
When the C.E.O of BlackRock’s annual letter to the chief executives of the world’s largest companies includes phrases like, “climate change has become a defining factor in companies’ long-term prospects”, and, “over time, companies and countries that do not respond to stakeholders and address sustainability risks will encounter growing scepticism from the markets, and in turn, a higher cost of capital.” – you feel that we are on the crest of something big, positive and hopefully permanent.
We are extremely pleased and excited to be joined by Fourth Element who will explain why and how they have placed the environment at the centre of their business. For a unitary authority/public sector perspective we have a short slot from Carbon Neutral Cornwall, Cornwall Council’s ‘Climate Change team’, to give an update on their Climate Change Action Plan. Our presentations will be rounded off by Tevi sharing practical examples of how they can and have assisted businesses address sustainability risks.
And if that is not enough breakfast will be provided. Places are limited and will be available on a first come first served basis.
