Regional chartered accountants PKF Francis Clark has appointed two new tax directors at their Poole office. Lisa Whitbread becomes Corporate Tax Director and Victoria Christopher becomes Private Client Tax Director.

Lisa Whitbread has been a senior tax manager in the corporate tax team and specialises in a variety of corporate tax matters including corporate restructuring, share plans, research and development tax relief and innovative tax planning. Lisa is a chartered tax adviser with more than 10 years’ experience in corporate tax with PKF Francis Clark, having previously worked at HMRC.

Victoria Christopher has been a senior tax manager in the private client team. Victoria graduated from Southampton University and joined the firm in 2015 from a national firm.

She specialises in private client tax including minimising capital gains tax on the sale or gift of assets, reducing potential inheritance tax liabilities, planning for retirement or business succession and the use of trusts to reduce tax and protect family assets. She also works helping clients with large and often complex property transactions.

Managing Partner Andrew Richards said: “Our tax team is at the heart of what PKF Francis Clark does, they have a strong vision, are opening up new areas of business for the firm and are true trusted advisers to our clients in the region and indeed to the profession nationwide.

Key to the success of the team and the firm has always been recruiting and rewarding the very best talent available. I would like to congratulate Lisa and Victoria on their well-deserved promotions which further confirm our ability to deliver the very best client focussed solutions.”

James Robinson, Office Managing Partner at PKF Francis Clark’s Poole office, said: “We have always been keen to encourage our people to develop and grow, to share the ambitions of our clients, and ensure we go the extra mile to successfully deliver their strategic goals and aims.  Many congratulations to Lisa and Victoria whose talent and hard work has added considerable value to the practice and to our clients.”
