New Director Appointments at PKF Francis Clark Exeter

Regional chartered accountants PKF Francis Clark has appointed three new Directors at their Exeter office. Rebecca Seeley Harris joins the firm as a director in the Employer Solutions team, Jane Logan becomes Landed Estates Director and Nick Harris becomes Business Recovery Director.

The news comes as the firm announces the promotion of two new Partners and five new Directors. These promotions take place in the Exeter and Poole offices and bring the total partnership to 54 with the firm now employing over 750 staff across the region.

Rebecca Seeley Harris is a legal consultant who has run her own consultancy practice for the past 20 years. She is expert in IR35, self-employment and agency issues and has also worked at the Treasury in the Office of Tax Simplification.  Her role as a Director in the Employer Solutions team will see her working with many clients especially with the recent public sector IR35 changes and the up coming extension of these rules to the private sector in April 2020.

Jane Logan is a Chartered Certified Accountant and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She has over 20 years’ experience in tax and has previously worked for one of the ‘Big 4’ firms. Jane will oversee the landed estates department which deal with a wide range of accounts, tax compliance and planning matters for landed estates and trust clients.

Nick Harris joined Francis Clark as a graduate trainee in 2004 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. He has specialised in Business Recovery and Insolvency since 2008 and passed the Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) examinations in 2013, becoming a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. Nick deals with all areas of Business Recovery and Insolvency but has a particular interest in corporate rescue procedures including Administration and Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs)
