Lisa Macpherson, Head of Tax Technical at PKF Francis Clark has been asked to join the panel of judges for the prestigious 2018 Taxation Awards which are being held on Thursday 17 May 2018 at the Park Lane Hilton.
The Taxation Awards launched in 2001 and have become recognised as marks of excellence within the tax sector receiving a high quantity of quality entries each year. The prizes are now sought-after by UK tax professionals, whether they work for multinational companies or in accountancy and law firms.
Lisa supports the firm’s tax teams on policy and technical issues across its network of offices. She has more than 20 years’ experience working in all areas of taxation including compliance and consultancy. For the last fifteen years she has specialised in dealing with inheritance tax planning, onshore and offshore trust taxation, residence and domicile issues, capital gains tax and pre-owned assets tax for a number of high net worth clients.
She has lectured on a number of topics including trust planning following the Finance Act 2006 changes, capital tax planning for high net worth individuals and managing HMRC enquiries and has written a number of articles for Taxation magazine. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Association of Taxation Technicians.
