Othniel Oysters

It was started in 1986 by commercial fisherman Gary Wordsworth, as a clam and cockle farm. It has now developed into the largest oyster farm in the country supplying over 30% of the UK’s production. Othniel’s dedication to producing quality oysters has led to innovation being key to the company’s success. Over the years, the team have created new engineering methods which help the business keep up with the increasing demand for Othniels’ oysters.
