PKF Francis Clark supports Penhaligon’s Friends

The Truro office of PKF Francis Clark has raised £3,442.49 for local charity Penhaligon’s Friends after it was named its charity of the year for 2017.

Penhaligon’s Friends is a charitable organisation that was formed in February 1995 to identify and address the needs of bereaved children in Cornwall, it adopted the Penhaligon Bear as a symbol of their wish to develop increased openness in home and school around bereavement.

The charity supports bereaved children, young people, parents and carers throughout the county and offers children and young people the chance to meet others and share their experiences, as well as practical resources for children and parents. It also delivers an extensive programme of training and advice for other childcare professionals and those interested in becoming a volunteer.

The colleagues at the accountants and business advisers Truro based office, had a busy year fund raising for the charity which included among other activities, bake sales, raffles, office dress down days and various sporting events.
