We understand that our clients, rightly so, want to protect the wealth they’ve earned and grow the return they can expect from it. There are a range of investments designed to support and encourage tax efficient investing including business property relief (BPR) which has been an established part of inheritance tax legislation since 1976.

There is also the enterprise investment scheme (EIS) where the income tax relief is 30% of the cost of the shares and is set against the investor’s income tax liability for the tax year in which the investment was made. Capital gains tax deferral relief and inheritance tax relief is also available on those investments.
