Holly advises corporate groups and family businesses on a range of tax matters specialising in planning for and dealing with the tax aspects of corporate sales and acquisitions, reconstructions, management buyouts and private equity investments. She has extensive experience in Entrepreneurs’ Relief planning, corporate restructuring, shareholder tax matters, employee share incentive schemes, SEIS, EIS and VCT investments.
Prior to working for PKF Francis Clark, Holly spent 10 years providing tax advice in a specialist corporate finance advisory firm in the South East. She advised on a wide range of transactions for owner managed businesses, private equity backed structures and corporate groups. Holly also gained international tax experience working in the International Tax groups of Big 4 firms in London and Chicago. Holly originally trained as a Chartered Accountant in a Big 4 firm in the South East dealing with tax compliance and consultancy for clients from multinational plcs to local owner-managed businesses and individuals.
Holly qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1995.
Holly lives in Brixham with her husband, four teenage children and three dogs. In her spare time she is a keen supporter and volunteer at Brixham RFC.
