About Nick

Prior to joining PKF Francis Clark Nick worked at National and ‘Big 4’ firms where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (having previously gained a Masters degree in International Management at the University of Exeter) and worked on a wide variety of small, medium and larger corporate entities.

Nick’s primary role as a corporate services partner based in our growing Taunton office (principally operating in the Somerset, West Dorset, Bristol and Bath area) is to deliver high quality accounts, audit and assurance services and to co-ordinate our specialist tax, corporate finance and other services to his clients through the building of strong client relationships.

His work encompasses leading teams in statutory audit and assurance, international and UK financial reporting and accountancy advice, in addition to wider business advisory and support services. These services see Nick working with family businesses, large private companies and groups, UK subsidiaries of internationally listed groups and a number of high-growth smaller and start-up businesses.

Nick heads up the firm’s offering to the food & drink sector (from producers/manufacturers to hospitality businesses). However, his role in the provision of corporate services also sees Nick and his team working with a diverse range of businesses, including; FCA regulated groups, professional sports clubs, renewable energy groups, maritime service providers, manufacturing groups, healthcare providers, vehicle dealerships and technology based businesses.

Alongside his work with businesses, Nick also provides accounts, audit, other assurance and financial processes and governance advisory services to a number of charities, education and other not-for-profit organisations.

Nick, who lives deep in the Somerset countryside, is a Board member of Somerset Chamber of Commerce, has been honorary treasurer of the Taunton Chamber of Commerce for a number of years, and, time and family permitting, can often be found at rugby and cricket grounds around the South West.
