Richard is a versatile, highly skilled cyber security professional with a strong interest in ethical hacking, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and network security. He has over 40 years’ experience in IT, ranging from desktop and network support, data centre server support and in depth cyber and information security reviews.
Richard is also skilled in digital forensics and is currently working towards the EC Council, Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator Certification and the EC Council Security Analyst Penetration Testing Practical. Over the years Richard has gained many industry qualifications ranging from MCSE’s and MCP’s to becoming a Certified General Data Protection Practitioner and also a Certified Information Security Manager through ISACA.
Richard is head of cyber services at PKF Francis Clark undertaking cyber security audits to the various standards offered by IASME, the National Cyber Security Centre’s Accreditation partner. Previously, Richard has been employed in positions providing network and information security for Government and ‘blue chip’ companies.
Richard is a qualified assessor in both Cyber Essentials and IASME Governance (Mapped to ISO27001). Additionally, he has substantial experience in undertaking cyber security audits for large organisations, particularly in the financial sector.
