About Darren

Darren Perry ACA DChA is a director of the firm, based in the corporate department of our Truro Office.

He has specialist expertise in the not-for-profit sector, working primarily with charities, academy schools and other not-for-profit entities such as community interest companies. He holds the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting in recognition of his experience and is also a regular speaker at our annual charity seminars and academy update seminars.

Darren is a Responsible Individual for statutory audit work and also assists his clients with accounts preparation, independent examination requirements and other recurring requirements such as VAT returns and company secretarial work. In addition to the not-for-profit sector he also assists corporate clients and carries out other specialist audits such as pension schemes and grant claims.

Darren trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Winter Rule in 2000, prior to the merger with Francis Clark LLP in 2011. He is also a parent elected school governor and is currently a member of the audit committee of a Multi Academy Trust.
