Mike is a Manager in the VAT & Indirect Tax Team, advising individuals and businesses from start-ups through to multi-nationals. He brings a no-nonsense approach to problem solving, getting to the heart of the matter and providing good practical solutions. With over 30 years accountancy experience, moving more towards VAT before making the full time move in 2011, Mike is able to apply a balanced and rounded approach to how businesses operate and bring a unique perspective.
Joining PKF Francis Clark (Princecroft Willis at that time) in 2008, having previously worked for BDO in Southampton, Mike has been instrumental in helping the VAT Team Partner Simon Anslow build the Marine advisory service, accumulating an unparalleled knowledge of the subject and being instrumental in the delivery of the marine sector advice to the likes of British Marine, the UK America’s cup team, brokers, boatbuilders and marine professionals.
Aside from the marine activity, Mike provides advice on a broad range of VAT matters but also specialises in land and property and the agricultural sector. Whilst VAT can often be a complex area, Mike is keen to make the advice provided to clients simple and straightforward.
Away from work Mike devotes his time to family and home.
