Over his career Paul has been at the forefront of transactional work, both as a corporate finance adviser and a banker. The combination of over 25 years in both lead advisory, due diligence and banking roles has provided Paul with a breadth of experience to draw upon when advising clients and facilitating negotiations in a wide range of sectors.

Paul spent the first ten years working for national accountancy firms, including 7 years at a ‘big 4’ firm in Bristol and Exeter. During his time in Bristol he advised on both buy-side transactions, including MBO’s and acquisitions together with sell-side mandates. Paul then spent ten years in the banking industry with HSBC, based in Bristol covering the South West in leadership roles in both corporate banking, leverage and acquisition finance.
