About Damian

Damian specialises in corporate and business tax advisory and heads the Exeter corporate tax and tax advisory team.

He provides advice on all corporate tax matters specialising in corporate restructuring, shareholder taxation, planning for and dealing with the tax aspects of corporate sales and acquisitions, remuneration planning and capital allowances.

He is the firm’s head of tax operations, responsible for the tax practice’s training, operational standards, human and knowledge resources. He is a member of the firm’s Research & Development tax group that advises on research & development tax claims and the Patent Box rate for companies and is also a member of the firm’s international tax group, advising both inbound and outbound clients on their relevant tax issues.

Prior to working for PKF Francis Clark, Damian worked with a ‘Big 4’ firm in London and the South East dealing with corporate tax compliance and consultancy for clients ranging from multinationals to local owner-managed businesses, transferring into corporate finance transaction tax with the same firm before moving to Devon in 2002.
